Yes, I'm sorry, but to be a good squash referee, you must learn the Rules.

It does not help if you are refereeing a match at D level, if you cannot explain clearly to the players why you have taken a certain decision. Also, when confronted by a top player who has read the Rules (yes, it's true, one or two of them really have !!), then you need to be accurate and controlled in the full knowledge of the Rules.
