For some reason, this is the first site that has been dedicated to explaining the Rules from the viewpoint of the Referee/Marker. This site contains information based on the latest Rules of the game of Singles Squash, approved by WSF and effective from 1 November 2010. Within this site, you will find the following areas : |
Rules of Singles Squash, mainly in
the original wording of the WSF approved Rules, but with some minor changes
for simplicity and accurate use of English, so that others may appropriately
translate the Rules for use in their own country. In some cases, we have
referred to explanations (sometimes on additional pages) that will help to
clarify certain situations. Pages are linked to other areas when appropriate. There is also a full set of Rules (with wording modified for easy translation). |
New addition by WSF for players to
be able to read quickly and gain a basic understanding of the Rules
themselves. |
Official WSF Guidelines for Rules
Interpretation, with some additional comments and explanations that we feel
will be useful. |
Official WSF specifications and
definitions, including court, ball and racket details, and other Rules or
scoring systems. |
