The question is : Q34 - Opponent in front of T plays a dropshot in the front corner. Opponent moves away, but slowly. Player could reach the ball and could have played a good return, but stops and appeals. |

The opponent is making an effort to give direct access - see Rule 12. The Referee must decide what is 'every effort' and award a stroke to the player in blatant cases of 'too little effort' by the opponent.
