The question is : Q33 - Player turns through 360 degrees, with the ball moving around the player's body, before the player attempts to hit the ball. Player strikes the ball, which hits the opponent, who is accidentally in the way. |

This is 'turning', and the player should not strike the ball so that the ball hits the opponent (as the opponent did not deliberately move into the path of the ball). The player is penalised - see Rule 9.
