The question is : Q28 - Player (in non-turning situation) hits the ball which hits the opponent before hitting a side-wall, and the ball would have reached the front wall, but the opponent could have continued in the rally. |

The Referee must be certain that a) the ball would have reached the front wall before it bounced, b) the player had not played a winning shot, and c) the opponent could have got to and played the ball - see Rule 9.
