Reason |
Referee stops play and it is hand-out - see Rule 4. There is no second serve in the game of Singles Squash, although this was not always the case. Earlier Rules (pre-1987) did allow a second service after a 'fault'. There is no reason why the calls of 'fault' and foot-fault' exist in the modern game, as they are entirely superfluous - see definitions in Appendix 2.
