William Young married Irvine Hair in 1838 and they had 3 children : James Hair (born 1838), Jean Shearer (born 1840) & Agnes (born 1842); Irvine was the daughter on James Hair and Jean Wilson)

William married Margaret Hamilton in 1846 and they had 4 children : Christina (born 1849), William (born 1851), Margaret (born 1853) & Andrew (born 1856)

James Hair married Harriet Lillias Aitken (born 3 April 1860; died 3 February 1931) on 11 June 1879; Harriet was the daughter of James Aitken and Elizabeth ?

James and Harriet had 10 children :

Jessie Rose (born 26 May 1878; died 10 November 1908 aged 30)

William (born 16 November 1880; died May 1958 aged 77)

James Aitken (born 2 October 1883; died 5 July 1944 aged 60)

Thomas Hudson (born 9 June 1884; died 17 April 1978 aged 93)

Irven Hair (born 17 June 1886 (or 11 July !!); died 12 May 1972 aged 85)

Ernest John (born 4 August 1888; died 28 November 1918 aged 30)

Harry Septimus (born 26 (or 19) January 1891; died 21 September 1974 aged 83)

Robert Stanley (born 29 December 1893; died 5 August 1962 aged 68)

Elizabeth (born 18 February 1895; died 29 November 1982 aged 87)

Harriet Lillias (born April 1898; died 5 March 1909 aged 11 months)
