TANIA MARIE YOUNG was on bom 6 September
1963 at Queen Victoria Maternity Hospital, Invercargill,
to parents Errol Ernest Stanley and Dawn
Esther (McCleery) Young.
She attended Newfield primary and then Cromwell High when
she moved to Cromwell with her family in 1970. Tania
found a love of horses and pursued this hobby until she
moved with her mother and sister to Dunedin in 1975. She
then attended Tahuna Intermediate and Bayfield High. Tania left Dunedin in 1980, moving into a flat with her brother in Invercargill and working for Southland Savings Bank. She married Ross Campbell Ladbrook on 13 March 1982 at 'Hazelwood' in Dunedin. They had two children both born at Kew Hospital, Invercargill - a daughter Suzanne Lisa (Suzi) was bom on 11 October 1982, and a son Chaise James who was bom on 21 January 1984. Ross joined the army and the family first moved to Waiouru and then to Burnham. The marriage ended at Christmas 1985. Tania moved again to Dunedin with Suzi, living in Arnold Street, North East Valley. Chaise stayed with his father at Burnham. Tania married Stuart Nome on 10 March 1990 (where?). Their daughter Morgan-Jane was bom on 28 October 1989 (where?), and shortly afterwards the family moved to Cromwell. Tania there served as a volunteer St. Jonh's Ambulance Officer for several years, reaching the highest grade that was then available to her in Cromwell. Later she was employed by the Dept. Conservation in Alexandra and still works for them as Programme Manager - Administration. This marriage also ended (when?) and Tania moved with Morgan-Jane to live in Alexandra. She now has a new partner, David John Murphy (Dave) and they live at 21 Bringham Street, Alexandra. Tania's daughter Suzi lives with her partner Paul Sykes in Invercargill and has one daughter, Katelyn Ashleigh, who was born on 26 December 1998. Suzi is expecting her second child in July 2002. |
