| SHIRLEY LOUISA McLISTER was bom at Ohai on
26 September 1949 to parents Nancy
Gertrude (Young) and Alan
Hugh McLister. She attended Primary School at Ohai,
Oamaru, Casa Nova and Winton District High School. She
was a first-day pupil and head prefect at the new Central
Southland College at Winton. She worked at the Southland
Savings Bank, Secretary to the Manager for 5 years. Shirley played Netball for Southland at the age of 16 and played for the South Island when she was just 18 years old. She married Richard Arthur Jackson on 16 January 1971 (where ?), a poultry farmer in Winton. Later (when ?) Dick and Shirley owned a business in Arrowtown and Frankton. Shirley is at present working for an accountant in Christchurch, Dick being the S.I. Manager to Roskill Cartage. They live with their two children - Peter Richard was bom on 3 April 1972 (where ?) and Toni Louisa was bom on 23 June 1974 (where ?). Their address is 68 Westgrove Avenue, Avonhead, Christchurch. |
