| RHONDA SHIRYL YOUNG was bom on 15 June 1967
to parents Harold Stanley
and Alma May (Erskine) Young. She attended North
Invercargill Primary school and James Hargest High
School, gaining 6 School Cert subjects. With her
accredited university entrance she attended Invercargill
Polytechnic studying for a BCommerce and passing
Accounting 1. After a short period in a full-time job
Rhonda now only works 2 days a week in her husband's
company. Rhonda married Iain James Hogg on 18 January 1992; they have two children: Tahlia Emily was born on 7 October 1999 in Joondalup, WA, and Nathan James was born on 26 May 2001 in Mona Vale, NSW. Rhonda's husband Iain was born in Dumfries, Scotland, on 27 May 1966 and was moved to New Zealand with his parents in 1967. He became a sheet metal engineer and worked for Glide Products (Perth) for 10 years. Iain is now managing director of the successful company Australian Surgical Aid Center Pty and the couple expect to own the whole company by 2004 as their current partner wants to retire from the business.
