| MARGARET ANNE YOUNG was bom at Tuatapere on
14 January 1954 of parents James
Owen and Ellen Mary
(King) Young. She attended Pahia Primary and Southland
Girls High Schools, before tarining as a Community Nurse
at Kew Hospital, Invercargill where she was awarded the
"Jack Bell Trophy" at graduation. Margaret married Neil Alexander Evans at Orepuki on 9 February 1974 and they now have 4 children - Karla Elizabeth was bom on 28 November 1975 (where ?), Donna Margaret was bom on 6 February 1977 (where ?), Kirsty Anne was bom on 29 July 1980 (where ?) and Regan Alexander was born on 24 June 1983 (where ?). Margaret was, for a time, working as a District Nurse in Invercargill before the family moved to Pahia in 1979. They now farm a 400 acre property on Mt Victoria Road. Margaret is now a part-time Nurse at Riverton Hospital and is a keen gardener, spinner and excels in many hand-crafts. Their current address is Mt Victoria Rd, Pahia, R.D. 1, Riverton. |
