JANICE ELIZABETH YOUNG was bom on 26 October
1957 at Tuatapere to parents William
Stuart and Jennifer
May Young. She attended Riverton Primary and District
High School and Timaru Girls High School. She married Robert (Robbie) Jackson in Timaru on 4 February 1978. Her achievements in sport include playing tennis and squash. She represented Southland at athletics and South Canterbury at netball. Janice and Robbie have two children - Sarah Lee was bom on 11 October 1981 in Timaru and Daniel Robert was bom on 27 October 1983 in Timaru. The couple live at 21 Kitchener Square, Timaru, from which base Robbie runs his landscape gardening business. Janice works as a branch bank manager in Timaru. |
