| HELEN JOY YOUNG was bom in Tuatapere on 13
June 1957 of parents James
Owen and Ellen Mary
(King) Young. She attended Pahia Primary where she was
also Dux, and Southland Girls High School gaining CI.E.
followed by study at Otago Polytechnic, (while working at
Dunedin Hospital), where she gained Cert of Science,
following that up with Cardio Pulmonary Study, passing
exminations at Green Lane Hospital, Auckland, and also at
Winston-Salem Carolina U.S.A. where she was awarded a
plaque for top marks in training courses. She attended
symposia in Australia and America, and she is now working
with a diagnostic practice in Perth, Western Australia. An interest in art at high school, where she was Junior prizewinner for 2 years, has been followed up by a great interest in photography. She is also keen on the outdoors and tramping, as well as home improvements. Helen married Ross Christie on13 June 1978 (where ?), but they then separated (when ?). She then married Glenn Glasson on 6 April 1991, in Mataranka, Australia. Her current address is ? |
