| ERROL ERNEST STANLEY YOUNG was bom on 9
November 1939 in Invercargill to parents Albert
Stanley and Mildred Adeline
Rose (Daniels) Young. He attended St. George primary
school and Southland Boys High School. He trained and
qualified as an automotive electrician at the firm of
Gormack Wilkes Davidson in Yarrow Street, Invercargill,
and later worked in motor garages. In the late 1970s he
moved to Temuka, Canterbury to work for the Geraldine
Borough Council. He married his first wife Dawn Ester McCleery on 14 April 1960 in Invercargill. They had three children all born in Invercargill - a son Gary David was born on 16 July 1961, and two daughters - Tania Marie was born on 6 September 1963 and Suzanne Sheree was born on 13 December 1964 at Queen Victoria Maternity Hospital. They lived first in Invercargill and later in Cromwell, Central Otago. Errol and Dawn divorced in 1975. Errol married his second wife Mavora Brown (nee Scobie) on 27 May 1976 in Temuka. They have three children all born in Temuka - Lara Chantelle was bom on 20 January 1980, and Krystal Lee and Vanya Cherie were twins bom on 24 January 1983. Errol has also adopted Mavora's two sons - Raymond was bom on 7 October 1968 (where ?) and Karl was bom on 15 October 1970 (where ?). Their current address is Milford Lagoon Road, Orakipaoa RD 26, Temuka. |
