| ANGI LOUISA YOUNG was bom on 27 September
1963 to parents Harold
Stanley and Alma May
(Erskine) Young. She attended North Primary School,
Rosedale Intermediate and Southland Girls High School.
She achieved 6 subjects in School Certificate - Maths,
English, Science, French, Latin and History. She was representative at swimming, hurdles, church choir, owns a collection of gymnastic badges, progressed to Grade 2 with ballet and has tap dancing medals. A lover of the outdoors, Angi has walked the Milford Track, attained a Coastal Skippers Certificate, Engineers Certificate, Radar and Radio Operators Licences and more recently was awarded a Friendly Service Award and she was Manager of Fiordland Travel Co. for Te Anau. Angi is now working part-time as a travel agent and also as a skin consultant. She married Darren King-Tumer on 16 April 1988 at St. Paul's Church, Invercargill, and their home address is 6 Quill Street, Te Anau. They have 2 children, both born in Invercargill: Tyla Morgan was born on 26 September 1994 and Liam Robert was born on 22 August 1996. Darren is a commercial fisherman who works mainly North of Milford Sound in the Big Bay area. |
