| ALAN JAMES YOUNG was bom on 4 March 1926
(where ?) to parents Irven
Hair and Ann Emily
(Lambert) Young. He was educated at Waihoaka primary and
Riverton District High School, where he excelled in
athletics, being Junior Champion in his 3rd form year. He spent all his working life on his father's farm, which he took over in 1962, and after farming it most efficiently, retired to Invercargill in 1985, having sold the farm to his nephew, Geoffrey Alan. He has never married. Current address ? |
