Agnes May Young 1912-1980 |

| AGNES MAY YOUNG was bom on 30 August 1912 to
parents James Aitken
and Elizabeth (Erskine) Young. She attended
Papatotara Primary School and Southland Technical
College. She was a good sportswoman, representing Waiau
at Basketball and Tennis, and in later years played
Indoor and Outdoor Bowls. She married Francis (Frank) George Brown on 11 September 1937 at Tuatapere and they have three children - Lex Erskine was born on 12 April 1939 (where ?), Rodney Frances was born on 7 October 1944 (where ?) and Donald George was born on 1 August 1948 (where ?). Agnes and Frank retired to 20 Ferry Road, Tuatapere in 1973. On 24 October 1980 Agnes passed away and Frank now lives at Longwood Lifestyle Village, Riverton. |
