CeePol consultancy In 1987, set up one-man company, CeePol, Consultancy for Information and Language, with intention to work with small companies to set up administration databases and assist Dutch companies with their writing of good English text. 3 companies in Hague area took advantage of service. For SPECS eventually became co-director (see under employment).
  Completed many writing projects for large pharmaceutical company, including writing manual of Standard Operating Procedures, correcting and writing drug dossiers, and correcting articles written in English by Dutch scientists.

Wrote script for video film on operation procedure for CD-ROM manufacturing machine, for major electronic company.

Wrote script for secret video film for Dutch Army on surveillance devices.

For translation bureau, completed very long and complex manual on Teletext programme.

Translated and wrote many technical texts, from waste disposal to contact lenses to transport and logistics, and many other fields.

Wrote many articles, from interviews and briefings, for magazines and Newsletters. Wrote and corrected English text of Intranet site for large petroleum company.

Worked with Internet Web-site building company on English text for main site of European branch of world-renowned consumer electronics company.

Wrote sponsor brochure for entertainment company and IT training company.

Many of above projects in cooperation with English Text Company.

Hobbies, interests Squash, as player and referee; running, cycling, travelling; music, reading.

Travelled in Africa (Zimbabwe/Botswana) on four occasions on private safaris, and also to many other (exotic) locations.
